Neuropore Therapies Research Associate/Scientist — In Vitro Pharmacology
Neuropore Therapies, Inc. is a San Diego based biopharmaceutical company utilizing innovative structure-based drug design technology to discover new therapies for Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders
We are currently seeking a highly motivated scientist to support our in vitro drug-discovery efforts. The position will entail assisting in the design, implementation and execution of our in vitro biophysical, biochemical and cell based assays supporting small molecule lead discovery and optimization. The position requires a candidate with a BS (preferably MS or Ph.D.) degree in biochemistry, cell biology, neurosciences or related discipline and also at least 6 years (3 years for MS, or 1 year for Ph.D.) of experience conducting cell based and/or biochemical assays in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting. A background in the neurosciences is preferred. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
